EH: We are working out the tunes policy, for now we have an Ipod full of chilled out music, and plans of some laid back acoustic stuff in the coming weeks up in the library area. Re: the TVs we plan to ultimately have them for major events, but for now, people seem to be (dare I say it!) enjoying the lack of football.

Aoife: Agonising over the veggie options. Might msg you about where our heads are at! You vegans are a tough bunch.

Delighted for you - wishing all the best of luck Neen!! It's amazing & inspiring to see young people who are passionate about food & drink take on a project like this. I can't wait to visit for the first time!

Oh pickled onions! It would be worth making a trip to Dublin just to come and sample these - haven't had one in years. Best of luck with the new venture. Will be looking forward to hearing all about it (and hopefully visiting soon).

Well done and absolutely brilliant. The old Mulligans was pretty awful, and usually we only found ourselves there to watch football games because there were no seats in Walshes' bar.

It's so exciting to hear that not only have you brought life back to the place, but that you've also added a completely new dimension to Stoneybatter and we're looking forward to the proper grub as it comes on stream.

So now that we've established that the place wil look fab and the grub will soon be brillo, let's cut to the chase on what the place will sound like: what's your policy on TV and radio? There's nothing worse than having a radio on blaring classic hits when you just want a quiet pint and not even the staff are listening to it, but will you have a TV for the big sports things?

It sounds like this has been a real labour of love...
